Craft Promiscuity

Yeah, I wanted to say "whore" in the title. I've been called a craft whore on more than one occasion. I consider it a compliment. As I've said before and I'll say it again "I want to learn how to make everything." I found out about the Toronto Modern Quilt Guild via Toronto Craft Alert newsletter this morning and do you think I wasted any time joining? Hells no!

I figure I qualify as a new quilter since I have gotten as far as sewing some squares together.

Well, I have also made a quilted cosmetic bag. I wanted to put some thrift store zippers to good use so I came up with this little number. I am going to reproduce this pattern a few times over with various fabrics from my collection and perhaps sell them at my next craft sale.
The bird fabric was hand printed in Australia by one of my favorite designers Danielle Stewart
I picked up the Japanese fabric on ebay from one of my fave sellers jcbdesigns she also has a store here.

delicious!
